We are accepting applications for Automotive Service Technician for our growing Heavy Duty and Automotive Equipment repair facility.
OUR COMPANY REQUIRES AN AUTOMOTIVE SERVICE TECHNICIAN WITH THE KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE TO SERVICE, troubleshoot and REPAIR AUTOMOTIVE vehicles.
Applicants must be thoroughly familiar with the automotive industry. Must have the knowledge and skill to make repairs efficiently and properly, as well as own tools to get the job done.
Essential Duties:
•Diagnose, repair and re-condition automotive vehicles and other equipment.
•Maintain and operate repair shop equipment and other repair tools.
•Participate in all necessary training to keep product knowledge current.
•Interact with customers and fellow employees in a professional and courteous manner.
•Perform all required tasks at an efficient level, while maintaining quality and a safe working environment
Other Skills:
Good general computer skills
Ability to problem solve and find solutions.
Able to work independently and in a team environment
Good written and oral communication skills in English are required.
Valid class 5 driver’s license and clean driving record an asset
Willing to work on Heavy Duty Truck and Trailers, when needed
Education:
Red Seal in Automotive Service Technician is preferred, 3rd and 4th year apprentices will be considered.
Have or be able to obtain a valid CVIP ticket
Experience:
3-5 Years relevant experience of diagnostics and repairs on Automotive vehicles up to and including 3-5 ton trucks
Compensation
Compensation rate is based on level of experience.
